SPED Paraprofessional I -JCS Pine Hills

Job Summary

JCS- Pine Hills is currently seeking to fill one SPED Paraprofessional I position for the 2026-2027 school year to serve our Special Education population at JCS Pine Hills. This is a part time, up to 28 hours per week position. Monday - Thursday.

- This position requires either a Paraprofessional Certificate OR at least 48 College credits. - Experience working with Students is preferred, but not required

The SPED Paraprofessional I performs any combination of the following instruction and support tasks in various school settings (classroom, playground, lunchroom) to assist administrative and teaching staff in supporting students with exceptional needs.

Requirements / Qualifications

• CPR/First Aid Certification (If you do not have a current CPR certification, please post a document stating that you will obtain CPR certification upon hire.)
• Letter(s) of Recommendation (Please upload Two (2) Professional letters of Recommendation)
• Paraprofessional Testing (If you do not have a Paraprofessional Certificate, please upload your transcripts to show at least 48 college credits.)
• Resume
• Other (If you do not have a current TB certificate, please post a document stating that you will obtain one upon hire.)
OR TB Screening Result (Negative test results required, must be within 6 months of application.)
