Sr. Program Manager, Accessibility
Description
About Us:
Twitch is the world’s biggest live streaming service, with global communities built around gaming, entertainment, music, sports, cooking, and more. It is where thousands of communities come together for whatever, every day.
We’re about community, inside and out. You’ll find coworkers who are eager to team up, collaborate, and smash (or elegantly solve) problems together. We’re on a quest to empower live communities, so if this sounds good to you, see what we’re up to on LinkedIn and X, and discover the projects we’re solving on our Blog. Be sure to explore our Interviewing Guide to learn how to ace our interview process.
About the Role
As the Senior Program Manager, Accessibility at Twitch, you will have a broad impact across all of Twitch and our Community. Reporting into the VP of UX, you will join our Design team where you will own the program design, education and enablement, and the auditing and testing output. We will look to you to execute the vision of how Twitch will be a welcome home for all regardless of abilities. You will partner with product, design, engineering, and legal to solve accessibility problems at scale and provide strategic solutions.
You can work from Twitch’s headquarters in San Francisco, CA; or from one of our hub locations in Seattle, WA; Los Angeles, CA; Irvine, CA; or New York City, NY - with West Coast (PST) working hours.
You Will
- Strategy & SME: Serve as the subject-matter expert for global digital accessibility across Twitch - advising product and partner teams, and leading process and tooling integration (including AI where appropriate).
- Operations & Backlog: Own intake, backlog, and operational management - partnering with engineering, product, and design leaders to prioritize and drive core accessibility issues, with regular communications and reporting.
- QA & Testing: Lead QA execution and manage QA specialists and third-party vendors; partner with engineers to build automated accessibility testing into CI/CD pipelines, shifting testing earlier in the development lifecycle.
- High-impact programs: Work with engineers, designers, product managers, and researchers to identify and deliver high-impact changes and programs across all products.
- Partnerships: Collaborate with accessibility partners (legal, research, policy, communications) on benchmarking, goal-setting, reporting, and execution.
- Education & Enablement: Develop an educational program and deploy guidelines and resources for key collaborators.
