As a Senior Software Engineer – Azure/.NET, you'll develop and maintain scalable, cloud-native solutions across our .NET and PHP-based e-commerce landscape. You'll work on complex backend systems, contribute to technical design decisions, and help modernize our platforms using modern engineering practices and Microsoft Azure technologies. Working closely with Software Engineers, DevOps, QA, and Product, you'll help ensure our solutions are reliable, secure, maintainable, and aligned with business needs.

What you will do:

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services and cloud-native solutions using C#/.NET and Microsoft Azure.
• Contribute to technical design decisions, proof of concepts, technical investigations, and modernization/refactoring initiatives to improve platform performance, maintainability, and reliability.
• Collaborate across .NET, PHP, DevOps, QA, Product, and external teams, translating business requirements into practical and scalable technical solutions.
• Contribute to code reviews, technical discussions, and knowledge sharing, helping maintain high engineering standards and supporting the continuous improvement of development practices.
• Apply engineering best practices in testing, security, observability, and operational reliability, including troubleshooting production issues, supporting root-cause analysis, and maintaining technical documentation.
• Promote and use AI-assisted engineering practices to improve developer productivity and software quality.

What we are looking for:

• 5+ years of backend development experience with C# and .NET (ASP.NET Core, Entity Framework Core, REST APIs, OpenAPI/Swagger), with a strong understanding of scalable and resilient software architecture.
• Hands-on experience designing and developing cloud-native solutions on Microsoft Azure, including Service Bus, Event Grid, Azure Functions, App Service, Key Vault, and Application Insights.
• Experience with secure cloud solutions, automated deployments, CI/CD, Infrastructure as Code (Terraform preferred), and observability practices.
• Experience with relational and NoSQL databases (SQL Server, Cosmos DB, MongoDB) and integrating .NET services with PHP applications and third-party or enterprise platforms (e.g. SAP, REST/SOAP APIs).
• Experience working in Agile, cross-functional engineering teams, contributing to code reviews and engineering best practices.
• Excellent written and spoken English.

Nice to have:

• Familiarity with AI-assisted development tools (GitHub Copilot, Claude, Cursor, Windsurf) and using them to improve development, testing, and documentation workflows.
• Good understanding of clean architecture and domain-driven design principles.
• Direct experience integrating with SAP or comparable large-scale enterprise platforms.
