  • Functionally own mechanical systems and delegate tasks.
  • Develop, review, and maintain engineering documents, specifications, and technical analyses, including 3D solid models and 2D drawings.
  • Be a member of integrated product teams, reciprocally interacting with other engineers, adjacent functions, suppliers, and stakeholders, to support products through the entire engineering lifecycle.
  • Represent the organization in technical and stakeholder reviews.
  • Collaborate with procurement, manufacturing, and test personnel to supervise the build and validation of hardware in a production environment.
  • Mentor and train team members.
  • Occasional travel.

The ideal candidate will have advanced knowledge of 3D CAD Modeling, Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing (GD&T), have lead various small technical teams with good communication skills (both oral and written), and applied experience of Mechanical Engineering principles in numerous applications. Ability to obtain a security clearance; US citizenship required.

Researches, plans, designs and develops mechanical products and systems such as instruments, controls, robots, engines, machines and mechanical, thermal hydraulic or heat transfer systems for production, transmission, measurement, and use of energy.
