Lakeland Joint School District is seeking applications for Substitute Crossing Guards for the 2026–2027 school year.

• Schedule:
  • Accept assignments that fit your schedule
  • One hour morning and one hour afternoon shifts available
• Pay:
  • $14.85 per hour

Job Requirement:

• Maintain continuous visual and/or auditory awareness of pedestrian and vehicular traffic.
• Identify approaching vehicles and changing traffic conditions.
• Promptly communicate directions, warnings, and instructions to students and drivers.
• Stop or redirect pedestrian traffic when necessary to prevent unsafe crossing.
• Respond immediately to unexpected traffic, pedestrian, or emergency situations.
• Remain attentive and positioned at the assigned crossing for the duration of the shift.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED required
