The Consolidated School District of New Britain is accepting applications for substitute Licensed Practical Nurses (LPN).

POSITION DETAILS
- Requirements:
- Current State of Connecticut Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license (proof required).
- One year of experience as an LPN.
- Current BLS certification.
- Ability to function autonomously.
- Strong communication and critical thinking skills.
- Experience documenting visit notes in electronic medical records.
- Ability to work with diverse populations.
- Experience with tracheostomies and feeding tubes.
- Additional Details:
- Experience in the following areas is preferred: Pediatrics, Emergency Medicine/Triage, or Public Health nursing.
- Applicants should be comfortable working independently and be capable of multitasking in a fast-paced environment.

SALARY
- For the 2026-2027 school year, the pay rate is $34.94/hour.
