The Consolidated School District of New Britain is accepting applications for substitute Registered Nurses (RN).

POSITION DETAILS
- Requirements:
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
- Current, uninterrupted State of Connecticut Registered Nurse License.
- Minimum of one year of experience as a Registered Nurse.
- Current BLS certification.
- Strong critical thinking skills and ability to function autonomously.
- Excellent assessment and communication skills, with experience documenting in electronic medical records.
- Ability to respond effectively to emergency situations.
- Proficient in adapting nursing principles and teaching techniques for various pediatric age groups.
- Experience working with diverse populations.
- Additional Details:
- Experience in the following areas is preferred: Pediatrics, Emergency Medicine/Triage, or Public Health nursing.
- Ideal candidates should be comfortable working independently and adept at multitasking in a fast-paced setting.

SALARY
- For the 2026-2027 school year, the pay rate is $40.94/hour.
