Substitute School Bus Driver

Job Summary

Under the supervision of the Transportation Director. The job of "School Bus Driver" is done for the purpose/s of transporting students over scheduled routes and/or special excursions; enforcing rules, regulations, and laws to maintain safety during transport; ensuring vehicle is in a safe operating condition; and ensuring safety of students during transport, loading and unloading from buses.

Requirements / Qualifications

CA Driver's License with School Bus Driver's Certificate
Valid California Class B commercial driver's license with passenger and air brake endorsements.
Valid School Bus Driver Medical Certificate.
Valid First Aid certification issued by an authorized agency.

upon starting as a substitute:
District Provided Criminal Justice Fingerprint Clearance.
