Substitute Teacher 26-27 SY

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Valid Washington State teaching certificate
• Effective oral and written communication skills
• Ability to deal with students in a warm and confident manner
• Ability to remain flexible to changes in assignments or situations
• Ability to follow written or verbal instructions
• Ability to be fair and consistent when working with students
• Ability to properly perceive emotional state of students
• Ability to appropriately monitor and correct student behavior
• Ability to maintain confidentiality

GENERAL FUNCTIONS:

Substitute teachers work in Preschool - Grade 12 classrooms in a variety of settings on an on-call basis. Work is based on employee absenteeism and there are no guaranteed hours or benefits.
