Support Engineer, Cimcorp, Ulvila

About the role

As a Support Engineer at Cimcorp, you will step into the heart of modern logistic automation system and work closely with warehouse management and manufacturing execution platform. For the beginning, you will build deep system knowledge side by side with a designated senior mentor, investigating Java- and Oracle-based environments and solving issues that arise from live production sites. Over time, you will ramp up to participate in the team's 24/7 on-call support rotation, serving as a key technical support for global enterprise clients.

We are looking for a person who has excellent technical understanding in Java- and Oracle-based systems and also high motivation to learn new things and develop as a professional.

Work tasks
- Digging into the systems codebase (Java) and databases (Oracle) to locate, isolate, and diagnose technical faults
- Troubleshooting and resolving incidents reported through the customer portal
- Collaborating closely with internal software developers, customer support specialists, and field engineers
- Participating the team's 24/7 on-call support for the clients

We are looking for

- Relevant educational background in Information Technology, Software Engineering, Automation, or a related area
- Good practical or theoretical understanding of Java programming and ability to read, debug, and navigate code
- Good knowledge of Oracle database
- Open, curious mindset with proactive communication skills and a willingness to learn continuously
- Fluency in English and proficiency in Finnish
