MANTECH seeks a motivated, career and customer-oriented Systems Administrator to join our team in Aurora, Colorado.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Provide Tier 2 and Tier 3 problem identification, diagnosis and resolution.
- Manage the daily activities of configuration and operation of IT systems.
- Provide support to IT systems including day-to-day operations, monitoring and problem resolution for all the client/server/storage/network devices, mobile devices, etc.
- Provide support for the escalation and communication of status to agency management and internal customers.
- Optimize system operations and resource utilization, and perform system capacity analysis and planning.
- Provide support for the dispatch system and hardware problems and remains involved in the resolution process.
- Configure and manage Linux and Windows (or other applicable) operating systems, install/loads operating system software, troubleshoot.
- Maintain integrity of and configure network components, along with implementing operating systems enhancements to improve reliability and performance.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in technical discipline; an additional 5 years of systems administration experience might be substituted for a degree.
- 15+ years' experience as a Systems Administrator or in related IT roles.
- Experience with Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL).
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with cloud infrastructure administration, preferably AWS.
- Familiarity with Windows.
Clearance Requirements:
- Active TS/SCI with Polygraph.
Physical Requirements:
- Needs to be able to provide hardware transferring support.
- Frequently communicates with co-workers, management, and customers, which may involve delivering presentations. Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations.
