Lead a Contractor Integrated Development & Test Environment (C-IDE) Sustainment Team as the Agile Release Product Owner. Serve as the primary liaison between development/test teams, Service Desk, security personnel, and technical leadership to ensure timely resolution of support tickets, maintained system hardening, and continuous compliance with DoD security requirements. Drive Agile ceremonies, metrics reporting, and coordinated patching/STIG remediation within a regular rhythm to sustain ATO compliance and mission-critical environment availability.
As a Systems Engineer-IT Stf you will:
- Own the Agile Release Train (ART) cadence: sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives; translate team velocity and support metrics into actionable improvements for technical leadership.
- Lead and mentor a Service Desk team to analyze, prioritize, and resolve technical issues for developers and test engineers working within C-IDE Linux (RHEL 9) and Windows containerized environments.
- Establish and maintain a regular rhythm for system STIGing, patching, and vulnerability remediation, ensuring alignment with DoD Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIGs) and site security policy.
- Coordinate directly with the site ISSM and ISSO to maintain system hardening, audit readiness, and Authority to Operate (ATO) compliance; prepare and present support metrics and compliance status for Agile IPT and technical leadership review.
- Deploy and sustain Linux (RHEL 9) and Windows operating system environments, containerized services, and associated monitoring/logging tools (e.g., SIEM) to ensure system performance, availability, and security.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams across Lockheed Martin and external sub-contractors to integrate sustainment efforts, resolve blocking issues, and maintain seamless development/test environment availability.
- Champion a culture of continuous improvement, security awareness, and timely delivery of high-quality solutions in support of critical military systems.
Basic Qualifications
- Proven experience in IT sustainment, Service Desk leadership, or Agile Release Product Ownership within a DoD, defense contractor, or highly regulated environment.
- Hands-on experience deploying and sustaining Linux (RHEL 9) and Windows environments, including containerized services and infrastructure-as-code tools.
- Demonstrated ability to interpret DoD STIGs, execute remediation, and maintain system ATO compliance in coordination with ISSM/ISSO teams.
Desired Skills
- Deep experience leading Agile ceremonies and using metrics (cycle time, velocity, support KPIs) to drive team performance and leadership reporting.
- Experience with SIEM monitoring, logging tool integration, and security event analysis within development/test environments.
- Familiarity with DevSecOps pipelines, Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC), and automated patching/STIG compliance tooling.
