Systems engineer-Space systems hardware

We're looking for a Systems Engineer – Space Systems Hardware to help design and integrate the ground infrastructure supporting complex satellite navigation missions.

🎯 Responsibilities

• Contribute to the definition and integration of hardware solutions for satellite navigation ground systems.
• Analyse system needs and translate them into technical and infrastructure requirements.
• Evaluate and recommend hardware technologies, including servers, storage, GPUs, networking equipment, and other IT components.
• Compare vendor solutions and support technology selection through technical assessments.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary engineering teams on system design and architecture reviews.
• Prepare and maintain technical documentation, specifications, analyses, and design artefacts in English and Spanish.
• Support requirements verification and ensure alignment between design decisions and project objectives.
• Develop expertise in hardware technologies, suppliers, and infrastructure solutions used in complex space and navigation programmes.

🛠️ Requirements

• Degree in Telecommunications Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
• Strong interest in hardware engineering, systems architecture, equipment integration, and complex technological infrastructures.
• Good level of English.
• Strong analytical and organizational skills.
• Attention to detail and the ability to communicate technical information clearly and effectively.

➕ Valuable experience and knowledge

• Servers, storage systems, GPUs, networking technologies, electronics, microcontrollers, or computer assembly.
• Systems architecture, virtualization environments, hardware platforms, and network infrastructures.
• Analysing and interpreting technical documentation, including manufacturers' specifications.
• Preparing technical reports, specifications, and engineering documentation.
• Space systems, satellite navigation, and ground segment infrastructures.
