Systems Engineering Manager

You will lead experienced engineers building infrastructure for a serverless GPU platform while contributing technically as needed. You will recruit, coach, and manage engineers; set technical direction and priorities; drive design and code reviews; establish reliability and performance standards; and lead resolution and learning for major incidents.

Responsibilities

• Recruit, hire, and grow cloud platform engineers
• Run regular one-to-one meetings focused on coaching, feedback, and career growth
• Set performance expectations and foster ownership, accountability, and continuous improvement
• Drive technical decisions through design reviews, code reviews, and architectural discussions
• Translate the infrastructure roadmap into priorities and milestones
• Establish reliability, performance, and operational-excellence standards
• Partner with product and engineering to align infrastructure work with business priorities
• Serve as escalation point for major incidents and drive resolution

Requirements

• 10+ years of industry experience, including 3+ years in a leadership role
• Track record building high-performance distributed systems at scale
• Strong background in cloud infrastructure
• Deep knowledge of Linux kernel, file systems, and containers
• Proficiency in Rust, C, C++, or Java
