Technical Program Manager, Environmental Technical Infrastructure Strategy, Planning and Development
Description
Google's projects, like our users, span the globe and require managers to keep the big picture in focus while being able to dive into the unique engineering challenges we face daily. As a Technical Program Manager at Google, you lead complex, multi-disciplinary engineering projects using your engineering expertise. You plan requirements with internal customers and usher projects through the entire project lifecycle. This includes managing project schedules, identifying risks and clearly communicating them to project stakeholders. You're equally at home explaining your team's analyses and recommendations to executives as you are discussing the technical trade-offs in product development with engineers.
Using your extensive technical and leadership expertise, you manage projects of various size and scope, identifying future opportunities, improving processes and driving the technical directions of your programs.
At the Compliance, Strategy, and Risk Management (CSRM) team, we don't just manage risk; we accelerate and unlock world-leading infrastructure at maximum scale.
As Google Cloud rapidly expands, the CSRM EHS Strategy, Programs, and Partnerships (SPP) team serves as the strategic engine for the Data Center EHS organization. We act as the bridge between complex global compliance and real-world business value translating safety, health, and environmental performance into concrete drivers of data center capacity delivery.
This is done through the execution of our strategic end to end integrated service delivery model ensuring every touchpoint of the data center lifecycle is evaluated for EHS risks and appropriately de-risked by a team of cross-functional technical experts and teams.
