TIG/MIG Welder

• MIG and TIG weld fabricated components used on roofing and construction projects.

• Weld brackets, frames, supports and fabricated sections.

• Work from drawings and measurements; set up equipment and select settings.

• Prepare, clean, cut and position materials.

• Check alignment, distortion and finish.

• Carry out tack, fillet and butt welds; grind and dress welds where specified.

• Identify defects and follow hot-work, gas-cylinder and PPE controls.

• Maintain a clean and organised workshop area.

Requirements

• Welding galvanised or coated materials, aluminium or stainless steel.

• Fabrication of brackets, trims, frames and supports.

• Workshop and site-installation experience.

• Driving experience and a valid Philippine driving licence.
