Dare to learn new skills, advance in your career and make an impact at Henkel . What you´ll do Responsible for safety and toxicological review of Henkel consumer products with focus on cosmetics. The toxicologist will work closely with Product Development, Regulatory Affairs and Consumer Technical Insights, from early ingredient selection through product launch and post-market stewardship to assure Henkel product safety standards are upheld. This role will also serve as a liaison for regulatory affairs with outside parties, such as regulatory organizations, stakeholders and external consultants. Study, understand and apply Next Generation Risk Assessment principles and tools to continue development of cosmetic product risk assessment practices at Henkel North America. Represent Henkel in external toxicological societies as well as relevant industry groups and associations. Integrate new scientific principles and tools in areas of chemical risk assessment and exposure evaluation. Responsible for ensuring that formulations and new product applications are evaluated using science-based approaches that support both consumer protection and product innovation. Contribute to process improvements and development of new toxicological principles to be applied internally. This role sits at the intersection of toxicology, regulatory science, consumer safety and product development.
