What will you be doing:

  • Own transport planning and execution activities for assigned markets, ensuring reliable product delivery while balancing customer service, transport costs and available capacity.
  • Optimise transport plans across breweries, warehouses and carriers, considering operational constraints and customer commitments.
  • Monitor transport execution and proactively resolve delivery exceptions, disruptions and operational issues to maintain service levels and business continuity.
  • Build effective partnerships with carriers, ensuring accountability for agreed performance targets and Service Level Agreement (SLA) compliance.
  • Lead regular carrier performance reviews, monitor results and identify opportunities to improve service quality, transport efficiency and cost performance.
  • Coordinate daily with Order Management, Inventory Deployment, Warehousing, Procurement and Customer Service teams to ensure effective transport planning and execution.
  • Monitor, analyse and take action on key logistics performance indicators (KPIs), including On Time In Full (OTIF), Variable Logistics Costs, Transport Plan Attainment and carrier performance.
  • Prepare and present operational performance reviews, investigate performance gaps and implement corrective and preventive actions.
  • Take ownership of assigned KPIs by initiating root cause analysis and 5 Whys investigations, proposing solutions and implementing actions to address recurring issues.
  • Support risk management and audit compliance by monitoring open issues, contributing to action plans and supporting the development of sustainability models where required.
  • Manage additional transport-related costs in line with Zero Based Budgeting principles, ensuring costs are correctly managed and unnecessary expenditure is minimised.
  • Support cross-team planning activities, provide backup where required and maintain effective communication with external partners, business stakeholders and Supply Chain Center colleagues.
  • Share best practices across the wider business and contribute to operational excellence through management system routines, Logistics Centralized Process standards and KPI reviews.
  • Drive and support continuous improvement initiatives to close performance gaps, improve processes and enhance operational efficiency.
  • Support the testing, deployment and stabilisation of new systems and processes, ensuring accurate transport execution and data management within SAP, Transport Management Systems (TMS) and related platforms.

What you will bring:

  • A degree in Logistics, a higher level of education or equivalent experience.
  • 1–2 years of experience in Logistics or Supply Chain, preferably within the FMCG industry, with experience in stock management, planning, scheduling or transport.
  • A good understanding of supply chain and transportation processes.

  • Advanced Microsoft Office skills, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook.
  • Experience using SAP and Power BI.
  • Experience with a Transport Management System, such as BlueYonder, would be an advantage.
  • The ability to create and use AI agents would be an advantage.
  • Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills, with the ability to investigate issues, interpret performance data and implement effective solutions.
  • A strong ownership mindset, customer focus and the ability to make sound decisions under pressure while managing competing priorities.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build effective working relationships with carriers, external partners and internal teams in a multicultural environment.
  • A proactive, continuous improvement mindset, with a focus on operational excellence, cost efficiency and sharing best practices.
  • The ability to work effectively as part of a team while maintaining service levels and business continuity.
