Truck Driver - Stockroom

Education/Certification Required:

• High School Graduate.
• Must have Texas Commercial or Class C driver's license and be insurable by the District.

Experience Required:

• Truck Driving experience.
• Preferred: Two years of truck driving experience

Function

Under the supervision of the Stockroom Manager and Warehouse Services Manager, delivers Stockroom orders requested by school and offices.

Reports To:

Responsibilities:

• Drives delivery truck in a safe and professional manner.
• Drives forklift in a safe and professional manner.
• Loads material from Central Stockroom and Central Receiving to offload at delivery site(s).
• Delivers items from Central Receiving to campuses and departments.
• Works in Stockroom when needed.
• Substitutes as Mail Driver when needed.
• Participates in annual inventory counts.
• Other duties as assigned by Manager.

WORKING CONDITIONS:

• Ability to read; communicate effectively in verbal and written form; meet multiple established deadlines.
• Occasional prolonged and irregular hours.

Salary: AUX/6DR: $15.00 minimum/hour (individual salary calculation is based on applicable experience)
