UX Designer

We're looking for a user-centered UX Designer to shape the end-to-end experience across the BSAS platform, a suite of three interconnected applications that help internal teams manage, track, and derive value from smart asset data.

🎯 Role Overview

You'll combine user research, interaction design, visual design, and design system governance to create intuitive, scalable, and consistent experiences across the BSAS ecosystem. Working with Product Owners, business stakeholders, architects, engineers, and end users, you'll translate complex business and operational requirements into solutions that drive adoption, efficiency, and user satisfaction.

🎯 Responsibilities

• Lead UX activities throughout the product lifecycle, from discovery and research through delivery and continuous improvement
• Conduct user research to understand user needs, pain points, workflows, and opportunities across the BSAS platform
• Plan and execute interviews, surveys, usability testing, and research analysis
• Develop personas, user journeys, process maps, and workflow diagrams
• Create low-fidelity wireframes, interactive prototypes, high-fidelity mockups, and pixel-perfect interfaces
• Design seamless experiences across multiple applications while maintaining consistency, usability, and close attention to detail
• Conduct iterative design validation with users and stakeholders to refine solutions
• Collaborate with Product Owners to define feature requirements and prioritize UX improvements
• Work closely with development architects, engineers, product managers, business stakeholders, and end users to define feasible solutions
• Partner with development teams during implementation to ensure design intent is accurately delivered
• Ensure designs align with business objectives, technical constraints, accessibility standards, design system guidelines, and user needs
• Champion user-centered design principles and advocate for the voice of the user throughout product development
• Establish and maintain UX standards, patterns, reusable UI components, and design documentation
• Contribute to and govern the enterprise Design System to support consistency across applications
• Work with the Central Design System Team to create new UX components and patterns and help identify and prioritize design system requirements
• Consult with other product teams and UX designers to maintain consistency and avoid divergent solutions across products
• Analyze user behavior and feedback to identify opportunities for continuous product improvement
• Use AI and associated tools to create coded prototypes, automate delivery, and improve efficiency
• Assess design ideas and outputs from other product team members, providing expert guidance to optimize user experience and meet relevant compliance requirements
• Collaborate with UX designers, developers, Product Owners, and the Central Design System Team to evolve ways of working

🛠️ Qualifications and Skills

• Degree in UX Design, Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), Interaction Design, Product Design, Digital Design, Computer Science, or a related field
• Strong understanding of User-Centered Design (UCD) and Design Thinking methodologies
• Up-to-date knowledge of UX/UI trends, emerging design patterns, accessibility standards, and best practices
• Ability to apply UX and accessibility principles appropriately within enterprise applications
• Experience with one or more design tools, such as Figma, Adobe Suite, Sketch, Zeplin, Marvel, InVision, Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, or Fireworks
• Familiarity with front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript is advantageous
• Strong understanding of information architecture and interaction design
• Excellent stakeholder communication, teamwork, adaptability, empathy, experimentation, advocacy, and customer-focused problem-solving skills
• Ability to take ownership and optimize processes through user-centered design

💼 Experience

• Proven experience designing B2B web-based enterprise software or complex business applications
• Demonstrated success delivering user-centered solutions from concept through implementation
• Experience conducting user research and usability testing and translating findings into actionable design improvements
• Strong portfolio showcasing UX processes, interaction design, visual design, and problem-solving capabilities
• Experience collaborating within cross-functional product teams in fast-paced delivery environments
• Experience working in Agile product delivery environments
• Experience using and contributing to design systems
• Experience using AI and associated tools
