Video Director - Grand Ole Opry

As a Video Director in our iconic venues, you'll support live entertainment, broadcast, streaming, and production operations by delivering reliable, high-quality video systems and technical execution. You'll plan, configure, operate, and maintain video equipment for live and recorded productions while supporting producers, clients, artists, and internal teams. As the ideal candidate, you're technically skilled, detail-oriented, and adaptable, with the ability to solve problems quickly and ensure seamless production experiences in a fast-paced entertainment environment. Reports to Manager Production-Opry Show

• Plan, set up, and operate video equipment and systems for live and taped productions, streaming, recordings, and other video needs for OEG and its clients.
• Collaborate with producers, clients, and talent as to their needs, making recommendations as appropriate to create the desired aesthetic.
• May supervise and direct camera operators.
• Troubleshoot video systems and implement alternate equipment or signal routing solutions to minimize disruptions during live productions.
• Maintain working knowledge of video systems, signal formats, routing equipment, processing devices, recording systems, and related production technologies.
• Monitor, maintain, and repair video equipment by performing preventative maintenance, managing firmware updates, and documenting equipment issues and repairs.
• Ensure all equipment is operated, maintained, and used safely in accordance with company standards, industry best practices, and applicable regulations. Maintain a safe and secure environment for artists, clients, employees, etc., following all codes, laws, regulations and emergency procedures.
• Partner with Technical Services, IT, and other departments to support production systems, technology infrastructure, and operational needs.
