- Develop and execute test cases, scripts, plans and procedures (manual and automated).
- Diagnose defects and track them from discovery to resolution.
- Partner with development teams to ensure that requirements are fully understood and that products meet those requirements.
- Lead, mentor, and coach a team of QA analysts and testers.
- Oversee continuous improvement projects to enhance testing efficiency and effectiveness.
- Prepare reports documenting test results and present findings to software development teams and senior management.
- Ensure compliance with general programming best practices, accepted web standards, and those standards specific to the company.
- Proven experience as a QA engineer or similar role with leadership responsibilities.
- Strong understanding of QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
- Hands-on experience with automated testing tools.
- Proficiency in writing clear, concise and comprehensive test plans and test cases.
- Knowledge of SQL and scripting.
- Experience with performance and/or security testing is a plus.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills to effectively manage a team and interact with other departments.
- Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and under tight deadlines.
