NETZSCH Group Application Engineer (m/f/d) Inside Sales - Business Area Oil & Gas Midstream/Downstream

Technical customer consulting and preparation of quotations based on customer specifications
Selection and sizing of pumps, including cost calculation
Development of individual, customized sales concepts and follow-up of quotations
Conducting bid clarification meetings with customers on site as required
Negotiation of terms and conditions within the defined scope of decision-making authority
Support and development of the existing customer base as well as acquisition of new customers
Close collaboration with the field sales team, subsidiaries and internal departments
Entry of orders into the SAP system (excluding project orders)
Handover of reviewed and clarified project orders to the Project Execution Team
Participation in trade fairs and exhibitions
Monitoring of competitors and market developments, including corresponding reporting

Successfully completed technical vocational training, ideally complemented by further qualification as a Master Craftsman or Technician, or completed commercial vocational training with a corresponding technical focus
Ideally, knowledge of the design and operation of positive displacement pumps and experience in the oil & gas industry
Strong technical understanding combined with an entrepreneurial and process-oriented mindset
Strong customer focus and excellent communication skills
Professional experience in an international industrial company is desirable
Strong presentation, persuasion and negotiation skills
Independent and responsible way of working
Quick comprehension as well as a high degree of flexibility, commitment and teamwork
Proficient in common MS Office applications, ideally with knowledge of SAP
Very good written and spoken English, good German skills are an advantage
Willingness to travel occasionally
