Brazilian Portuguese Social Media Agent – Athens

About the Role
Are you fluent in Brazilian Portuguese and motivated to help make the internet a safer place? We are recruiting for an international team that supports a leading global social media platform and keeps the online experience safe and positive for millions of users.

The role combines three kinds of work: reviewing user-generated content and ads against community standards, investigating user reports, and supporting users by chat, email and outbound calls. You will work on-site from a modern office in Athens.

Key Responsibilities

• Review posts, comments, videos and ads against community standards and platform policies
• Investigate and act on user reports of abuse, harassment or policy violations
• Support users by chat, email and outbound calls with account, payment and general inquiries
• Identify and escalate cases not covered by existing policies, and contribute to policy updates
• Contribute to data gathering for machine-learning initiatives
• Maintain a high standard of accuracy and efficiency in all tasks

Requirements

• Native or C1-level Brazilian Portuguese
• B2–C1 English, needed for training, the knowledge base and client policies
• 1–3 years of experience in BPO, customer support, tech support or content moderation
• Strong decision-making, critical-thinking and problem-solving skills
• Excellent written communication
• Cultural awareness of Brazil's social and political environment
• Typing speed of at least 30 WPM
• Resilience and the ability to handle sensitive content professionally
