Functional Finance Partnership & Bva

Serve as the primary day-to-day Finance partner for assigned functional areas.
Prepare monthly budget versus actual analysis, identifying key drivers, trends, and variances.
Partner with budget owners to understand results and develop clear financial commentary.
Track spending against approved budgets and provide visibility into current and projected performance.
Support Finance approval processes for headcount requisitions, purchase requests, and other spend commitments.

Headcount & Spend Management

Maintain detailed headcount plans, including new hires, vacancies, backfills, and organizational changes.
Partner with the People Team to reconcile headcount assumptions and ensure alignment between workforce and financial plans.
Monitor vendor and discretionary spend against approved budgets.
Support integration and one-time cost tracking as applicable.

Reporting & Analysis

Prepare recurring financial reports and dashboards for assigned functions.
Support monthly management reporting and consolidation activities.
Partner with Accounting during month-end close to ensure accurate expense reporting, accruals, and coding.
Identify opportunities to simplify and automate recurring reporting and FP&A processes.
