The Plamondon Companies is looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Human Resources Intern to join our HR team for summer 2027!

This is your opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the exciting world of Human Resources while working alongside experienced HR professionals. From recruiting and onboarding to employee engagement and retention, you'll get an inside look at what it takes to support our team members and help our business thrive.

No two days will be exactly alike, and you'll have the opportunity to contribute to meaningful projects that make a real difference!

What You'll Be Doing:

Hiring & Onboarding

• Help coordinate management onboarding and new hire orientation.

• Help create and update recruiting materials, interview guides, and onboarding packets.

Employee Engagement

• Lead the planning and coordination of our annual Associate Appreciation Week. A companywide event to celebrate the employees who are the heart of our business.

• Assist in planning and executing other company events.

Employee Retention & HR Operations

• Help maintain electronic and physical employee personnel records.

• Participate in HR audits at our corporate-owned Roy Rogers Restaurants and PHP hotel properties.

And More! You'll also have the opportunity to assist with special HR projects, collaborate with different departments, and experience the day-to-day operations of a busy Human Resources team.

Internship Details

• Full-time, paid summer internship, $15.00 hourly.

• This will be an in-office role in our corporate office in Frederick, Maryland.

• Local and occasional out-of-state travel may be required (less than 20%).
