Member of Technical Staff - Systems

You will design, build, and maintain high-performance systems for the serverless platform. You will apply cloud, operating-system, and performance-engineering expertise to large-scale distributed systems. You will work in person in the New York City or San Francisco office, participate in on-call rotation, and respond to production incidents.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain high-performance serverless-platform systems
• Apply performance engineering to distributed systems
• Participate in on-call rotation and respond to production incidents

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience writing high-quality production code
• Experience building high-performance distributed systems at large scale
• Strong cloud skills
• Strong knowledge of Linux kernel, file systems, and containers
• Experience with performance engineering
• Ability to work in person in the NYC or SF office
• Ability to participate in on-call rotation and respond to production incidents
