About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance Consultant for a C2C contract opportunity based in San Antonio, Texas.

The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the implementation, configuration, and optimisation of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance solutions. The role involves working closely with business stakeholders to understand financial processes, gather requirements, and deliver effective functional solutions.

This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on D365 Finance professional with strong implementation experience and the ability to work independently in a project-driven environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the implementation, configuration, and optimisation of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance.
• Analyse business requirements and translate them into functional solutions.
• Work with finance stakeholders to understand business processes and identify areas for improvement.
• Configure core Finance modules, including General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Cash and Bank Management, and Fixed Assets.
• Conduct functional workshops and requirements-gathering sessions.
• Prepare functional specifications, solution designs, and process documentation.
• Support data migration, system integration, and validation activities.
• Coordinate and execute functional testing and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
• Troubleshoot functional issues and provide effective solutions throughout the project lifecycle.
• Provide guidance and training to end users.
• Collaborate with technical teams and project stakeholders to ensure successful delivery.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations.
• Strong functional expertise in core Finance modules.
• Proven experience in D365 Finance implementations and configurations.
• Solid understanding of accounting principles and financial business processes.
• Experience with requirements gathering, functional design, and stakeholder management.
• Knowledge of data migration, integrations, and financial reporting.
• Experience supporting testing activities, including UAT.
• Ability to work independently and deliver within project deadlines.
• Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

Nice to Have

• Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance certifications.
• Experience with US financial processes, tax requirements, and localisation.
• Knowledge of Power BI and financial reporting.
• Experience with full-cycle D365 Finance implementations.
