About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Microsoft Dynamics 365 Supply Chain Management (SCM) Functional Consultant for a contract engagement based in San Antonio, Texas.

The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the implementation, configuration, and optimisation of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations, with a strong focus on Supply Chain Management processes.

The role requires solid functional expertise across supply chain operations, the ability to translate business requirements into effective ERP solutions, and experience working closely with business stakeholders and technical teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Participate in the implementation and configuration of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Supply Chain Management.
• Gather, analyse, and document business requirements related to supply chain operations.
• Conduct workshops, business process reviews, and fit-gap analysis.
• Configure and optimise SCM modules based on business requirements.
• Work across key functional areas, including:
• Procurement and Sourcing
• Inventory Management
• Warehouse Management
• Product Information Management
• Master Planning
• Sales Order Management
• Production Control (where applicable)
• Translate business requirements into functional specifications and solution designs.
• Support data migration, integrations, and system validation.
• Develop and execute functional test scenarios and support User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
• Identify and troubleshoot functional issues throughout the implementation lifecycle.
• Provide end-user training, documentation, and post-go-live support.
• Collaborate with developers, technical consultants, project managers, and business stakeholders.

Required Skills & Experience

• 5+ years of experience with Microsoft Dynamics AX / Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations.
• Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Supply Chain Management.
• In-depth understanding of supply chain business processes.
• Proven experience configuring and implementing D365 SCM modules.
• Experience with full-cycle ERP implementations.
• Strong knowledge of procurement, inventory, warehouse management, and order management processes.
• Experience with requirements gathering, functional design, fit-gap analysis, and UAT.
• Ability to translate complex business requirements into functional solutions.
• Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work on-site in San Antonio area, Texas.

Nice to Have

• Experience with manufacturing and production processes.
• Knowledge of Advanced Warehouse Management (WMS).
• Experience with Master Planning and demand forecasting.
• Experience with multi-site and multi-warehouse implementations.
• Microsoft Dynamics 365 Supply Chain Management certifications.
