We are looking for a professional with a background in civil infrastructure, municipal capital improvement projects, public works, land development, or construction management who is interested in applying that experience in a specialized consulting environment.

PCGI provides management, accounting, capital infrastructure, and facilities services to metropolitan and other special districts throughout Colorado and Utah. Our Capital Infrastructure team works with district boards, developers, engineers, contractors, and municipalities to coordinate the construction, financing-related administration, and acceptance of public improvements.

As a Project Manager, you will represent district clients in coordinating infrastructure projects, administering contracts and budgets, facilitating developer reimbursements, and ensuring public improvements are properly documented and accepted. Projects may include roads, utilities, water and wastewater systems, drainage improvements, parks, and other community infrastructure.

This position is well suited for someone who understands civil construction and public infrastructure processes, enjoys coordinating across multiple disciplines, and takes pride in managing complex responsibilities with accuracy and professionalism.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

Capital Project Management and Contract Administration

  • Prepare and maintain capital project budgets, financial reports, and supporting documentation.
  • Review contractor invoices, payment applications, and cost estimates in coordination with internal accounting teams.
  • Coordinate public improvement cost certifications and asset acceptance processes to facilitate developer reimbursement.
  • Work with engineers, legal counsel, and other professionals to verify project documentation and prepare district board approvals.
  • Coordinate municipal acceptance, project closeout, warranty obligations, and the transition of completed infrastructure to facilities management.

Client and Stakeholder Coordination

  • Serve as a primary point of contact for capital infrastructure matters involving assigned district clients.
  • Develop effective working relationships with district boards, municipalities, developers, engineers, contractors, and other project stakeholders.
  • Prepare and present project updates, financial reports, and recommendations at district board meetings.
  • Coordinate with internal district management, accounting, and facilities teams to ensure consistent client service.
  • Maintain accurate records, communicate proactively, and ensure commitments and action items are completed.

  • Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills, including the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to work effectively with technical professionals, clients, and public officials.
  • Demonstrated initiative, sound judgment, accountability, and attention to detail.
