Senior People Operations Generalist

You will define and improve the People Operations model and standardize core employee processes. You will own process documentation, service metrics, audits, Workday business processes, and automation prototypes. You will resolve complex employee operations cases and lead cross-functional process redesign, change management, and tool adoption.
Responsibilities
- Define the People Operations operating model
- Assess and improve core People processes
- Execute People Business Partner-driven reorganizations, promotions, performance actions, and exits
- Set process-design, documentation, SLA, and handoff standards
- Own the SOP library and knowledge base
- Build audit-ready controls for SOX
- Define and use service-quality metrics
- Run proactive Workday and connected-system audits
- Own Workday business process design, configuration, testing, and iteration
- Build People Operations automations with AI and low-code tools
- Resolve complex benefits, leave, time-off, rotation, and organizational-change cases
- Lead change management for process redesigns and tools
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree
- 5+ years of experience in a People or HR-related role
- AI and low-code automation experience
- Experience with Claude, Lovable, Zapier, Apps Script, or SQL
- Experience with Carta, Ashby, Jira help desk, or comparable systems
- Experience partnering with IT or HRIS teams on integrations, requirements, and test plans
- Experience with Lean, Six Sigma, or service design for HR processes
- Experience supporting SOX, EEO-1, benefits-plan audits, or immigration programs
