Senior Platform Engineer to design and expand an OpenShift Container Platform (OCP) environment and support CI/CD rollout for a large banking client in Berlin. The role involves Kubernetes/OpenShift, Docker, Linux, GitLab, Nexus/ArgoCD and Ansible, plus in-house consulting and ensuring stable, secure operation of bank-critical components.

Dear Applicant, for one of our clients - big company operating on banking sector - we are looking for a Senior Platform Engineer.
Responsibilities:
- Designing the further expansion of OpenShift Container Platform (OCP) and support the rollout of the CI/CD platform.
- Controling the introduction and further development of interfaces and components of our modern environment.
- Advising our customers in-house on the optimal use of the platform as part of consulting, onboarding and ongoing support.
- Ensuring a stable, highly available and secure operation of our components that ensure the bank's critical processes.
Requirements:
- Degree in the field of IT, telecommunications or banking or a comparable qualification.
- Minimum 5 years of experience, preferably in banking sector.
- Experience and very good understanding of Kubernetes/RedHat Openshift, Docker Container, Linux.
- Good knowledge of the relevant platforms GitLab, Nexus/ArgoCD, Ansible or Unix shell scripting to the team.
- Familiarity with IT processes and ITILv3 and topics such as host, client/server, databases, workflow control (nice to have!)
- Proficiency in German and good command of English
- EU citizenship
