Description
Team Lead, Sales Delivery (Seasonal)
Position Overview:
Bloom, the insurance industry’s trusted growth partner, is seeking a motivated and skilled seasonal Team Lead with an active Health Insurance license to join our team for the Annual Enrollment Period (October 15 – December 7) and take the reins of one of our high-impact Telesales programs.
In this hybrid Agent/Leader role, you'll lead by example—balancing personal sales production with the responsibility of coaching, mentoring, and developing a high-performing team of Medicare sales agents. You'll play a critical role in driving sales performance, fostering engagement, and ensuring operational excellence while remaining actively involved in day-to-day sales activities. If you're energized by achieving results, developing talent, and creating a culture of accountability and continuous improvement, we'd love to hear from you.
The ideal candidate is a top-performing Telesales professional with proven leadership experience and a passion for helping others succeed. This role combines individual contributor responsibilities with frontline leadership, requiring the ability to consistently achieve personal sales goals while providing day-to-day guidance, performance coaching, and operational support to a team of Medicare sales agents. Success in this position is measured by both individual production and the overall performance, development, and engagement of the team.
We are looking for an exceptional individual who can:
- Monitor agent performance across live calls, after-call work, and offline activities to ensure productivity, quality, and adherence standards are achieved.
- Provide real-time coaching, support, and feedback based on call audits, quality evaluations, performance trends, and Average Handle Time (AHT) metrics.
- Conduct regular one-on-one meetings, scorecard reviews, and developmental coaching sessions to support agent growth and performance improvement.
- Support new hire onboarding by assisting agents through their initial nesting period, ensuring they are prepared to independently manage customer interactions.
- Monitor attendance, schedule adherence, and agent productivity, addressing concerns and escalating issues as appropriate.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for agent questions, providing guidance, troubleshooting support, and timely responses through team chat and other communication channels.
- Complete quality assurance evaluations, manage reconsideration requests, and ensure enrollment accuracy and compliance with organizational standards.
- Handle escalated customer interactions and assist agents with resolving complex issues while maintaining a high level of customer service.
- Identify and escalate ongoing or significant performance concerns to the appropriate leadership team for review and corrective action.
- Communicate operational updates, policy changes, reminders, and best practices through Microsoft Teams and other communication channels.
- Prepare and distribute daily operational summaries, performance statistics, and campaign updates during peak enrollment periods, including AEP, OEP, and SEP.
- Develop and maintain Team channel coverage schedules while monitoring pause, auxiliary, and wrap-up time to support productivity and service level objectives.
- Assist agents with maintaining Request for Information (RFI) tracking and documentation, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and timely follow-up.
- Balance leadership responsibilities with direct customer interaction by handling inbound calls as needed to support operational and sales goals.
- Reinforce quality standards, compliance requirements, and call handling procedures to ensure a consistent customer experience.
- Foster a positive, collaborative, and high-performing team environment through coaching, recognition, engagement, and continuous development efforts.
- Perform additional duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Qualifications:
