Vice President, Financial Modeler/Engineer

We’re seeking a future team member for the role of Vice President, Financial Modeler/Engineer to join our Corporate Trust Analytics Solutions team. This role is located in Pittsburgh, PA.

In this role, you’ll make an impact in the following ways:

1. Model Development & Technology

• Develop structured finance models to evaluate asset performance, client and securities data, cash flows, waterfalls, portfolio criteria, and asset eligibility, and produce investor reports.
• Use SQL, queries, macros, and related tools to extract data and populate models, including light programming or system configuration as needed.
• Partner with management to evaluate and select technologies for modeling and analysis.
• Apply AI tools to improve the efficiency and accuracy of deliverables.

1. Analysis & Communication

• Interpret analytical findings, prepare standard and ad hoc reports, present results to management and senior leaders, and recommend appropriate actions.
• Explain complex technical concepts and analyses clearly to nontechnical audiences.
• Review reports and calculations prepared by less experienced colleagues for accuracy.

1. Project & Team Leadership

• Lead modeling projects and mentor less experienced colleagues.
• Lead complex cross-functional or enterprise-wide projects that support new or evolving processes, products, and initiatives.
• Oversee junior modelers and contribute to performance assessments without direct supervisory responsibility.

To be successful in this role, we’re seeking the following:

• A bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Five or more years of relevant experience is preferred.
• Strong analytical and project leadership skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel formulas, VBA and SQL scripting is required.
• Knowledge of structured finance, AI tools such as ChatGPT and Copilot, Power Apps, Microsoft Access, VB.NET, PowerShell, Power BI, SSRS, and Python is preferred.
