Account Executive
Description
About the Role
Join an early-stage healthtech company expanding access to mental health care for students through school partnerships. In this full-cycle sales role, you will build relationships with schools across New York and help connect more young people with licensed therapists.
What You'll Do
Own the sales cycle from prospecting and cold outreach through tailored presentations, negotiation, and close.
Manage a high-volume portfolio of approximately 150 schools, building relationships with counselors, principals, and district administrators.
Adapt your approach to different school stakeholders and lead efficient sales cycles that may take one or two calls.
Conduct school-facing outreach and meetings in the morning, then manage CRM updates, follow-ups, and planning in the afternoon.
Meet school staff in person and travel for district meetings and events, with travel up to 25%.
Coordinate partnership handoffs with Growth and Success teams and share field insights with Product and Marketing.
What We're Looking For
One to four years of full-cycle B2B sales experience, ideally at an early-stage startup, with a consistent record of meeting or exceeding quota.
Experience building pipeline through outbound prospecting and cold calling, and closing sales cycles within approximately two months.
Strong relationship-building skills, empathy, and comfort selling to multiple stakeholders.
Organized pipeline management experience with Salesforce or a similar CRM; experience with Outreach or Gong is useful.
Comfort operating independently in an ambiguous, evolving environment.
Interest in youth mental health; experience selling to K-12 schools, districts, or education-adjacent buyers is a plus.
Compensation & Benefits
Base salary is $90,000 to $110,000 annually. Visa sponsorship is available.
