Description

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Senior Account Executive based in the United States.

In this role, you will drive new business acquisition and revenue growth across the Greater Los Angeles and Southwest markets. You will take ownership of your territory, developing strategic prospecting initiatives and building strong relationships with business owners, operators, and industry partners. As a field-based sales professional, you will identify opportunities, generate qualified pipelines, and manage the entire sales cycle from initial outreach to closing. You will introduce innovative payment technologies, mobile solutions, and business management tools that help unattended retail operators improve profitability and operational efficiency. While focusing initially on the commercial laundry sector, you will also have opportunities to expand into additional markets and customer segments. This is an entrepreneurial opportunity for a results-driven sales professional who enjoys building territories, winning new customers, and contributing to a high-growth commercial organization.

Accountabilities

As a Senior Account Executive, you will be responsible for developing your territory, acquiring new customers, and consistently delivering revenue growth through consultative and value-based selling. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Own and develop the Greater Los Angeles and Southwest territory, implementing a comprehensive strategy for market penetration and new customer acquisition.

  • Identify, prospect, and engage laundromat owners, multi-location operators, commercial laundry businesses, and other qualified prospects.

  • Generate new business opportunities through outbound prospecting, cold calling, in-person visits, referrals, networking, and targeted sales campaigns.

  • Conduct regular field visits and face-to-face meetings to build relationships, identify customer needs, and accelerate sales opportunities.

  • Establish and strengthen relationships with industry partners, distributors, and referral networks to expand market reach.

  • Develop and execute territory business plans with clear pipeline generation, customer acquisition, and revenue objectives.

  • Position and sell a comprehensive portfolio of technology solutions, including mobile payment systems, hardware, and integrated laundry management tools.

  • Lead consultative discovery conversations to understand customer challenges, operational requirements, business priorities, and growth opportunities.

  • Demonstrate how technology solutions can increase revenue, improve operational efficiency, and enhance the end-customer experience.

  • Engage business owners and key decision-makers, developing compelling business cases that support purchasing decisions.

  • Manage the full sales cycle, from prospecting and qualification through product demonstrations, proposals, negotiations, and contract closure.

  • Identify cross-selling and upselling opportunities to expand customer adoption of additional products and services.

  • Consistently achieve or exceed assigned targets for new customer acquisition, bookings, and revenue.

  • Build and maintain a healthy, qualified sales pipeline to support predictable business growth.

  • Maintain accurate sales activity, opportunity, and forecasting records within Salesforce CRM.

  • Follow established sales processes, qualification criteria, and pipeline management standards.

  • Monitor key performance indicators, including prospecting activity, customer meetings, pipeline generation, conversion rates, win rates, and revenue attainment.

  • Collaborate with Sales Development, Marketing, Sales Engineering, and Customer Success teams to accelerate acquisition and support successful customer onboarding.

  • Share market intelligence, competitive insights, and customer feedback to help improve sales strategies and go-to-market initiatives.

  • Requirements:

The ideal candidate is an entrepreneurial, highly motivated sales professional with a proven ability to generate new business, develop territories, and consistently achieve ambitious revenue targets. The following qualifications and skills are expected:

    • At least 5 years of successful B2B sales experience, with a demonstrated track record of new customer acquisition and consistent quota attainment.

    • Proven experience in outbound, territory-based, or field sales environments.

    • Strong hunter mentality, with the ability to independently generate qualified opportunities, build pipelines, and close new business.

    • Experience selling technology, SaaS platforms, payment solutions, point-of-sale (POS) systems, or other business solutions to SMB and mid-market customers.

    • Demonstrated ability to engage and influence business owners, operators, and executive-level decision-makers.

    • Strong consultative selling, negotiation, presentation, and relationship-building capabilities.

    • Proven experience managing the complete sales cycle, from initial prospecting and qualification through negotiation and contract execution.

    • Excellent organizational skills, self-motivation, and accountability, with the ability to perform effectively in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment.

    • Based in the Greater Los Angeles area, with the ability and willingness to travel extensively throughout the assigned territory.

    • Preferred Qualifications:

      • Experience selling into the laundromat, commercial laundry, unattended retail, vending, or payment technology industries.

      • Established relationships with laundromat owners, multi-location operators, distributors, or other relevant industry stakeholders.

      • Experience selling multi-product solutions combining software, hardware, and recurring revenue models.

      • Demonstrated success developing, managing, and expanding geographic sales territories.

      • Familiarity with POS systems, mobile payment technologies, business management software, and subscription-based solutions.

      • Experience selling to independently owned businesses and multi-location operators.

      • Benefits:

        • Competitive compensation package combining base salary and performance-based commission.

        • Employee benefits package.

        • Opportunity to earn additional compensation based on individual sales performance.

        • High-impact field sales position with significant ownership of territory development and business growth.

        • Opportunity to sell an expanding portfolio of innovative technology and payment solutions.

        • Exposure to multiple customer segments and growing industry markets.
